This antique spelter metal statue of a French Revolution period knitting woman has a small plaque to the front which reads TRICOTEUSE Par Capoy.

The statue is also stamped FRANCE to the back of the base with a indistinct signature which looks like Aug Moreau, but i am not sure.

The statue has all over age patination.

Height  : 11.5" (29.5cm).
