# 9855 was superseded to # 9819 and interchanges to ACDelco # 508F
& 508S. Their 1995 catalog shows it to fit the many (but not all) of the 8cyl 283, 307, 327, 350 400 & 409 Checker, Chevy cars & Chevy / GMC Trucks (1964-1974).
Most interchanges are correct, but there could be minor variations on the wire lengths, so do your own checking.
