This steering column is a perfect replacement if your column has bad bearings, if it has loose tilt or if the ignition switch does not engage (Will not start or stop the engine) This column is BARE, this means you will have to transfer some parts from your column to ours like ignition lock, turn signal switch, shift tube, upper and lower covers, clock spring or horn contact and lower mounting bracket, this can be done with regular tools and will take about 15 minutes to do, the ignition lock shown in the picture is NOT included.
This column has been rebuilt with brand new OEM FORD bearings and ignition actuator, we disassemble the whole column to inspect, clean and lubricate all moving parts.
