This BOSS CE-3 was made in December, 1985 according to BOSS Pedal Decorder. The BOSS CE-3 of this era is well known for being used by Japanese City pop musician Tatsuro Yamashita.
It has few scratches and is in such a great condition that it's hard to believe that it's been nearly 40 years since it was manufactured. Of course the sound is also very good.
MN3102 and MN3207 are used for the BBD element.
We have confirmed the sound output with both ACA power supply and 9 volt battery.
This CE-3 is Made in Japan. The serial number is 616600.
