Vintage Parker Duofold International in Black version with 18K 750 Gold M(Medium) Nib.
Duofold International was introduced in 1989 as a smaller sized version of Centennial measuring 5.1" (131mm) caped.
The nib has an attractive ruthenium arrow motif, and the tip, often referred as the "iridium", was also made from ruthenium. Ruthenium is a very hard metal that belong to the platinum family and is inert to most chemicals. The ink feed and collector are designed and built not to leak at any "normal" plane altitude, by controling and regulating ink by sensitively adapting to atmospheric pressure and temperature changes.
The body was made from solid rods of a very sturdy acrilic known as methyl-methacrylate, with a trim of heavy plated 23K gold.
Made in UK 1988-1995.
