The SM-4T is a heavy-duty, highly-flexible microscope designed for biological and industrial applications. This model is especially popular in the QC, repair and engraving industries thanks to its ease-of-use and reliability. With its wide zoom range and double-arm boom-stand, this model will become an indispensable instrument in any workshop or lab. This trinocular model has an additional port for mounting a camera, so you can record video or photos without replacing an eyepiece.

Optics

The stereo optics provide clear, sharp images with excellent focus-depth and a large working-distance. With 0.7X-4.5X zoom objectives, moving through the magnification range is as easy as turning a knob. 10X wide-field eyepieces provide an ample magnification range from 7X to 45X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles.

Ocular Adjustment

Dual ocular diopters can be adjusted to maintain consistent focus, greatly improving productivity. Rotating interpupillary adjusters simplify the process of aligning the eyepieces for each user.

Trinocular Port

The switched trinocular photo-port provides a dedicated mount for a camera. When the photo-port is switched open, all light from the left objective is diverted to the port to provide maximum brightness for the camera to guarantee the best quality images.

Double-arm Boom-Stand

The multi-pivoting stand provides a stable, flexible support system, ideal for hands-on work. Use of a drop-down column allows the head to be positioned at virtually any angle. Ball-bearings provide smooth movement of the lateral arms, which can easily pivot the microscope out of the way when it is not needed. The heavy, steel base ensures the stability of the microscope, even when laden with attachments.

Standalone Imaging Solution

A powerful image capture system lies at your fingertips. The HD408U's internal recording system allows you to capture 4K videos and photos up to 8MP with the click of a mouse. The camera can record to Secure Digital media or a USB flash drive, eliminating the need for a computer. Built-in software provides image processing and measurement tools for a complete standalone experience.

The camera uses a standard C-mount interface to connect to a wide range of microscopes and lenses. For microscopes with 23mm photo ports, you can pair the camera with an optional 0.5X reduction lens to optimize the field-of-view.

LED Light Features

This is a 144-LED intensity direction adjustable ring light with mounting size up to 2-2/5" (61mm) in diameter. The light ring is consisted of 4 individual portions (4 lighting zones) that can be turned on/off separately. You may use the feature to change lighting directions and obtain the best illumination for your application. The ring light has 2-2/5" (61mm) inside and 4" (100mm) outside diameters. It works with power supplies from a 110-220V and comes with a 1-7/8" (48 mm in diameter) ring adapter. With variable intensity control, it provides cool, even, intense and focused shadow-free illumination. It is an ideal durable cool light source for all stereo microscopes, especially for gemological, coin and gem/jewelry microscopes. This kit comes with one year warranty against manufacturing defects.

  • 5 Year Warranty for all complete Microscopes - Against manufacturing defects, covering labor and parts.
  • 1 Year Warranty for Accessories and sold-separate microscope parts - (USB cameras, lighting, articulating arms, stands, objective lens, stages, etc).
  • No warranty for consumable accessories such as bulbs, slides, or hand tools

To start a Warranty claim, please contact us through eBay Messages to obtain a claim number.  Buyer will be responsible for return shipping.

Once received, most claims are processed within 1-2 weeks, stock permitting.  Once processed, please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery of repaired/replaced unit
