 Water Pump

I recently purchased the contents of a closed auto parts supply store. This store has been closed for over 30 years. 

I did a visual search to identify this water pump. It seems to match the 3836161 GM pump. The only difference I see are the two hole vs one hole configuration on the housing.

This pump was found among new and remanufactured water pumps. The boxes were stacked and are damaged. Consider that the gasket will not be included or is damaged. 

There was some surface rust on the pump. I have dipped it to remove the worst of the rust and have wiped the cast iron with an oiled rag. The impeller spins as it should.
