Installation Guarantee: Because we cannot control the environment or technique used outside of our shop, we do not guarantee the installation unless we perform it. However, your chosen shop should provide their own labor guarantee.

To ensure your custom kit looks professional and lasts for years, please follow these steps carefully. Whether you are a DIYer or handing this to a pro, preparation is the key to a "show-quality" finish.
Stop! Before peeling any backing:
Dry Fit: Lay out all pieces on a table and match them to the corresponding panels on your vehicle.
Alignment Check: Hold the pieces up to the vehicle using masking tape to ensure the fitment and design flow are exactly what you expected.
Verification: Once the vinyl is removed from the paper backing or touched to the vehicle, it cannot be returned or exchanged.
The high-tack adhesive requires a surgically clean surface to bond correctly.
Wash: Power wash the vehicle to remove heavy mud and debris.
Degrease: Use a high-quality degreaser to remove waxes, silicone (like SC1), and oils.
Final Prep: Wipe down every inch of the application area with 90% Isopropyl Alcohol. Any leftover residue will cause the edges to lift later.
Environment: Install in a clean, dust-free area between 65°F and 80°F. Avoid direct sunlight.
Tools Needed: * Soft felt-tip squeegee.
Heat gun or propane torch (use with caution).
Sharp hobby knife (for minor trimming).
3M Primer 94 Pen (Highly Recommended for edges and deep recesses).
Prime: Apply 3M Primer 94 to the edges of the plastics and into deep "pockets" where the vinyl might want to pull back. Let it dry for 1 minute.
Center & Stick: Peel a small section of the backing and tack the graphic in place. Work from the center outward.
Squeegee: Use firm, overlapping strokes to push all air out. If you get a bubble, carefully peel back and re-apply.
Heat: Use a heat gun to help the vinyl conform to curves. Do not overstretch.
Post-Heat: Once the kit is on, go over all edges and recessed areas with heat (approx. 180°F) and firm pressure. This "sets" the adhesive's memory.
KGFX Warranty: Covers material defects including bubbling, cracking, and laminate separation.
Labor Guarantee: Installation is only guaranteed by the installer. If you use a professional shop, ensure they are 3M Certified and ask for their specific labor warranty.
Cure Time: Let the vehicle sit in a warm environment for 24 hours before riding or washing to allow the adhesive to reach full strength.
