Los Angeles, February 23 - Back in United States - Former South Vietnamese Lieutenant General Nguyen Chanh Thi reads a statement at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday afternoon upon his arrival back in the United States. Thi attempted to return to Vietnam after six years in exile in the U.S., but was not allowed off the plane in Saigon. Photo measures 8 x 10.5inches. Photo is dated 02-23-1972.
