This is an original press photo. John Goldmark, Harvard-educated cattleman and former state legislator, is shown with wife Sally shortly before receiving $40,000 judgment in his $225,000 libel suit. Jury returned verdict early Wednesday morning after five days of deliberations. Mrs. Goldmark, an admitted Communist Party member from 1935 to 1943, sought $25,000 in the joint action but was denied damages. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 01-22-1964.
