This is an original press photo. Ann Arbor, MI: James Vogel, 17, (above), had this pensive look after his capture by police following a gun battle. Ann Arbor police said Vogel shot his sister with two shotgun blasts following an argument over who should use an easy chair in front of the family television set. Fleeing the house after the shooting police said, Vogel wounded a woman passerby and a policeman who attempted to capture him in a public park.Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches. Photo is dated 10-25-1959.
