An incredibly beautifully substantial modern-vintage ring dated to 2007 with a rare asymmetrical design. If giving as a gift I could probably get the few light marks from the underside removed
The
large cultured Tahitian pearl is exquisite, a true Peacock deep grey black with
greenish-pink luster, shows a true bluebottle green in bright sunlight & the 16x 1mm rose cut diamonds (0.16ct total
carat weight), are beautiful quality, a clear bright white, not to be confused with
modern small, appalling quality Diamonds
My photos do it no justice whatsoever, the perfectly round blemish free Pearl nestles
within a curved cut out base which replicates the size & shape of
the pearl. A parallel row of 1mm brilliant white pave set Diamonds
reaching up to the pearl on just the one side. There is not a chip or
mark to any of the diamonds, these being slightly recessed into the gold
so they will not come in contact with anything that could damage them.
The ring possesses a full set of British hallmarks to the inside DK 375
Anchor (for the Birmingham assay office ) & date stamp h for 2007.
The gorgeous pearl measures a substantial 10mm (.4") &
stands 11mm (.4") off the finger, the band being 7mm (.3") at the widest point & has a diameter of 1.7mm (around .5") side to side
across the INSIDE of the shank, could be resized easily, & looks astonishing when worn, make sure to ask your jeweler not to touch the hallmarks.
This
has never been altered or repaired, but it has been loved & there
are very light signs of wear to the underside of the ring ring, a decent jeweler could easily sort this out ,
