1960 Press Photo Downed icy telephone lines in Roscoe, Texas- Below zero weather
This is an original press photo. Telephone lines near Roscoe just had too much ice, so they sagged to the ground and pulled the poles with them, Wednesday. Icing conditions were reported worse in the Roscoe-Snyder-Sweet later area than anywhere else in West Texas. An estimated 100 utility poles were down. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 12-8-1960.
