We do have a little French bulldog-so while all attempts are taken to ensure no errant hairs have made their way onto this item-it is a possibility-so if you or someone in your home are highly allergic this may not be a good source for you. He also attends doggie daycare on a pretty regular basis-so while we do not own a cat-there is a very remote possibility that another dog may transfer their hair or fur or a cat's hair to our dog. Lot of two Madeline hardcover books/one is Viking and the other is Penguin ~ both are from the 1989s ~ Madeline and Madeline's Christmas/both by Ludwig Bemelmans ~ no marks or drawing on any of the interior pages of the books/minor scuffs to the dust cover on both books at edges/etc..the Madeline book does have a tear to the front of the dust cover on the lower left front affecting the "U & D" heavily and a touch of the letter "L" as shown ~ these are approximately 30 years old so please do not expect these to be in perfect condition...as they clearly are not
