This affordable solution offers reliable performance for protective sheathing, cabling, marking and insulation of low voltage cables in non-critical applications. 3M Temflex 165 vinyl insulating tape is a high quality 0.15 mm thick, general purpose insulating tape. It is highly resistant to moisture and changing weather conditions. It is a flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and adaptable in application. 3M Temflex 165 tape offers excellent mechanical protection with minimal bulk. It is UL, CSA and VDE certified, approved according to standard IEC 60454-3-1. 3M Temflex 165 vinyl insulating tape is based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and/or its copolymers and has a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. The tape is 0.15 mm thick, UL listed and labelled as "flame retardant and cold resistant" according to UL standard 510. The tape can be applied at temperatures from 0 °C to 38 °C without affecting its physical properties. It is classified for indoor and outdoor use and is compatible with synthetic cable insulation, sheathing and connection materials.
