The Intel RS3SC008 is a professional SATA / SAS RAID controller for servers and workstations. It allows you to increase the number of connected hard drives. The controller organizes and coordinates these to regulate read and write access. It’s identical to the model Broadcom 9380-8e.

The RAID controller offers an interface with PCIe x8 3.0 and 1 GB Cache onboard. Via 2 miniSAS SFF-8644 ports you can connect up to 8 SATA or SAS drives externally. It is universally compatible with all known brands. The chipset is LSI Roc SAS3108. In addition to the controller, you receive matching full and low profile brackets for installation.
