Includes a soft-glow downlight for dimly lit interiors
When installed and powered, the downlight (LED) illuminates. The downlight (LED) color is an orange tone similar to the Jimny's air conditioner panel LEDs.
This downlight softly illuminates the Jimny's center console tray. It makes small items like smartphones or coins easier to see in a dark vehicle interior.
Safety device with fuse
A fuse is installed in this product. If the output exceeds the allowable amperage, the product's fuse will blow. This protects the vehicle's fuse box and your electrical equipment.
If the fuse blows, possible causes include the electrical equipment's amperage exceeding the allowable limit or a malfunction in the connected electrical equipment.
Easy fuse replacement via fuse pocket
The fuse is positioned so it can be replaced without removing the main unit, in case the fuse ever blows.
You can easily swap the fuse from the fuse pocket. (Use a 10A mini flat fuse when replacing.)
Additionally, using the original socket cover provides an OEM-like appearance and is designed so the original socket cover doesn't get in the way.
