Vintage 54cm or 21.5" Carlton International Track Bike Frame & Fork that looks to be from 1964. The Size is: Seat tube 52.5cm Center to Center or 54cm Center to Top with a 54.5cm center to center top tube. The Head tube is 114mm. The 1" Threaded Fork has 98mm Spacing and the Frame Rear has 110m Rear Spacing. The wheel base appears to be 38 to 39" as the rear slot is wide. I suspect the Frame and Fork are Reynolds Steel 531 Tubing with Iconic International Lugs. Frame takes British / BSA/ ISO Bottom Brackets. The Serial # is on the Rear drop out, M 910x which from research should be 1964. Frame bottom and fork are stamped with a bespoke numbers 572xx and I suspect the frame was a custom order. Frame and Fork is used, Nice survivor, chromes in nice shape for its age, It has a little rust & bottom bracket is a tad dull which is to be expected of a chromed frame of this age, chrome has micro scratches, the lug pin striping is nice, seat post clamp was over tightened, top tube is wavy / dentish possibly where handle bars came intact with the frame, frame was just wiped down and definitely could use some detailing & a polish. Plenty of Eye Candy Pictures to mull over. Frame set appears to be early Carlton predating the Carlton built Raleigh Era. What's shown weighs a tad over 6 pounds.
