This attractive tin was made for  Chocolate sold by Heinrich Haeberlein. It was produced by company called Felix Lasse, a company known for tin items including toys, that was in Leipzig. This is a high quality tin. It measures almost 5 inches high. It has interesting features. There are two separate panes of female figures, which are embossed. The lid is embossed as well.  Also, the side/sleeve of the lid is lithographed with the pattern that is continuous with the body of the tin. When the top is taken off, under it is the pattern that continues the art theme of the piece. This is really an expensive feature and hard to do. It is not what we usually see which is a shiny top edge in a tin when the top is taken off.
The tin has seen some use, and there are some various condition issues, small scratches, light wear spots, light surface corrosion spots. You can also see where the decoration has darkened when you take the lid off and see the unexposed top of the lithography.
Finally, I did a lot of looking around. There are numerous offerings of tins from this company. The majority were post WWII. There were also some older ones. I was able to find no one like this one for sale, sold, or even pictured. While there were some nice ones out there, this tin is more appealing than most all of the ones I saw.
