 About Brake Caliper 

Brake calipers make braking no longer weak, shorten the braking distance of the vehicle, improve braking performance, and ensure driving safety.The calipers are equipped with dust boots to prevent foreign particles from damaging the pistons.

The front brakes of the majority of cars use a disc brake system, which includes calipers. Your car’s brake pistons and pads are housed in the brake caliper. Its function is to slow down the wheels of the vehicle by creating friction with the brake rotors.

How to change brake calipers – Removing old calipers
1. Take off the wheel
2. Pry the caliper off
3. Remove & check brake pads
4. Remove caliper bracket

How to change brake calipers – Installing new calipers
1. Get the correct caliper
2. Remove the old caliper from the hose
3. Reattach brake hose to new caliper
4. Secure caliper bracket against brake rotor
5. Secure the new caliper to the caliper bracket
