Über mich:

Über die Jahre konnte ich mir ein großes Sortiment seltener Steppenpflanzen/Mittelmeerpflanzen aufbauen. Diese sind klimawandeltaugliche, insektenfreundliche Wildpflanzen mit hohem Zierwert. Ich ernte das Saatgut aus meinen aufgebauten Vermehrungsbeständen selber und kaufe Nichts aus dem Großhandel. 

Beschreibung Rainfarn (Tanacetum vulgare):

konkurrenzstarke Wildstaude, wächst in der Natur oft vergesellschaftet mit dem Gewöhnlichen Beifuß (Artemisia vulgaris)

Verbreitung: Europa, Asien 

Aussaat: Normalkeimer, Aussaat drinnen bei 20°C ganzjährig möglich, einfach auf die Erdoberfläche streuen, am besten draußen in Töpfe von März-Oktober

Keimzeit: 1-4 Wochen

Standort: Ausgewachsene Pflanzen am besten an vollsonnigen und trockenen Standort, nach Auspflanzung kein Gießen mehr benötigt, wächst bis zu 120 cm hoch

Blütezeit: Juni bis August, gut von Wildbienen besucht

Besonderheiten: als trockene Einstreu in Ställen hält die Pflanze Schädlinge von Haustieren fern

Generell gilt:

Lagern Sie Saatgut, wenn Sie es nicht direkt aussäen wollen am besten im Kühlschrank (Nicht im Gefrierschrank!). Das macht die Samen für Jahre lagerfähig. Professionelle lagern die Saat zusätzlich in abgeschlossenen Behältnissen zusammen mit Silikagel (die Kügelchen halten die Luftfeuchte gering und verlängern so zusätzlich die Lagerfähigkeit). Geringe Luftfeuchte, Sauerstoffarmut, Dunkelheit und Kälte verlangsamen den Stoffwechsel und Energieverbrauch des Embryos im Samen und verlängern so dessen Lebensdauer. Samen bis zur Keimung an schattigem Ort aufstellen, damit die Erde nicht zu schnell austrocknet. 
Wenn die Samen nicht keimen sollten (was unwahrscheinlich ist), so schreiben Sie mir und ich kann Ihnen dann Ersatz schicken. Wenn eine Pflanzenart ausverkauft ist, die Sie aber gerne bestellen würden, schicken sie mir eine Nachricht per eBay. Ich teile ihnen dann mit sobald der Artikel wieder verfügbar ist. Es keimen nicht alle Samen, da es sich um ein Naturprodukt handelt. Ich ernte jedes Jahr neues frisches Saatgut.

About me:

Over the years I have been able to build up a large assortment of rare steppe plants/Mediterranean plants. These are climate change-compatible, insect-friendly wild plants with high ornamental value. I harvest the seeds from the propagation stock I have built up myself and do not buy anything from wholesalers.

Description of Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare):

competitive wild perennial, often grows in nature together with common mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris)

Distribution: Europe, Asia

Sowing: Normal germinator, sowing indoors at 20°C possible all year round, simply sprinkle on the surface of the soil, preferably outside in pots from March to October

Germination time: 1-4 weeks

Location: Adult plants are best placed in full sun and dry locations, no watering is required after planting, grows up to 120 cm high

Flowering time: June to August, well visited by wild bees

Special features: as dry bedding in stables, the plant keeps pests away from pets

The general rule:

It is best to store seeds in the refrigerator (not in the freezer!) if you do not intend to sow them immediately. This makes the seeds storable for years. Professionals also store the seeds in closed containers together with silica gel (the beads keep the humidity low and thus also extend the storage life). Low humidity, lack of oxygen, darkness and cold slow down the metabolism and energy consumption of the embryo in the seed and thus extend its lifespan. Place the seeds in a shady spot until they germinate so the soil doesn't dry out too quickly.

If the seeds don't germinate (which is unlikely), write to me and I can send you a replacement. If a type of plant is sold out but you would like to order, send me a message via eBay. I will then let you know as soon as the item is available again. Not all seeds germinate as it is a natural product. I harvest new fresh seeds every year.
