This vintage check writer is a rare find for collectors of antiques and mercantile items. Made by Safe Guard, a trusted maker in the industry, this model was a popular choice in the 1930s and 40s. It bears the original label indicating the maker's address at 39-41 Cortlandt St in NY, NY. This item is a great addition to any collection of cash register or adding machine memorabilia.

Vintage check writing machine. Has patina and wear. However, machine works. Does have distress on bottom and top. Distress on black paint. Enameled top with slide numbers. Handle to push down to inscribe check AND Emboss paper. Also, tested and works. (See picture of numbers on test paper) Release buttons to retrieve slides. Rare vintage model.
