This lot consists of a pair of insert cards of the Dallas Cowboys' Emmitt Smith, one with the bronze stripe header from the March1992  issue of Pocket Pages magazine,  and the other with a silver foil header stripe, which came from the special version of the magazine which was handed out at the Sports Spectacular 2, at the San Francisco Cow Palace.    Condition is mint for both the regular issue and the show promo variety, despite some lack of detail in the scan, and both are trimmed oversize to please graders..  The magazine issue was much tougher to find because they were pretty much by subscription only and the show promo program with the silver stripe was given out to each attendee.  Insofar as the silver header card was given away at a card show in the free gift package at the front door it was a promo.  The bronze header was only in the magazine that was sent to subscribers.  As you probably know most of the Pocket Pages inserts show up as a "Free Sample" or "Promo" as well as a regular magazine insert, but I really don't know if I have ever seen the inserts from this issue with the promo overprints.
