Re-engineered to address common failure points in the original design. Our Engine Oil Dipstick is differentiated by its long-lasting handle. Constructed of tough plastic, the handle won't break or separate from the rod. Now you can perform your essential routine oil checks and changes with ease.

How To Use
As with the original Dealer Tool
Insert into dipstick tube until the tool bottoms out, this tool will be longer than the tube itself.
Remove and check fluid level
DO NOT leave tool inside =
the dip stick tube when finished with level check.
This Tool Enables The User To Check Engine Fluid Level
1. Verify that the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
2. Remove dipstick tube cap.
3. Engage parking brake. Start engine and let it idle with gear selector in the park position.
4. Shift the tansmissisn lever through the gears several times with the vehidle stationary and engine iding.
5. Bring the vehicle up to operating temperature and check fluld level with engine iding. Push dipstick into Engine fill tube until itbottoms out against the Engine pan and puil out, read fluid levell.
NOTE: The dipstick will protrude from fil tube when insalled.
6. Check Engine fluid temperature using a scan tool.
NOTE: Accurate Engine fluid temperature can only be obtained by using a scan too with the Engine leverinreverse or any forward gear position.
7. The Engine dipstick has level indicator lines every 10mm. Check fluld level on dipstick; determine proper fluid levelusing the correct fluid level chart for your vehicle.
8. Adjust fluid level as necessary and recheck level.
9. Install dipstick tube cap after checking fluid level.
