One in a million! I've freshly laundered this textile and it's ready to go! ~ I'm quite certain that this wonderful fabric was manufactured at the Jouy factory, late 1700's or very early 1800's ~ I also think that the backing fabric was manufactured there too ~ these patterns were also used as dress fabric ~ This quilt has been in my personal collection and I continue to enjoy it so much. It's a work of art. The design is one of my favorites ~ arched over floral sprigs and bouquets ~ here is a light cotton batting between the layers. There is a large stain on the left, I would love to see a little patch to cover it over!~ I can happily look around for a small piece that might be suitable to patch ~*~ This quilt is one in a million, a very very beautiful textile. Ideal for museum acquisition or anyone that enjoys these wonderful works of art ~*~

MEASUREMENTS : This lovely textile measures approximately 55 inches by approx. 58 inches

CONDITION: I've freshly laundered this wonderful textile and it's ready to enjoy. There is a large stain on the front ( please see photographs) that can be patched over. The middle of the back yellow fabric has wear, little holes that expose the batting. This is the area that most quilts show their wear ~*~
