They show the changing styles and models of Slot Cars through the years.  Many have great detailed info about the item and can help with research and identification.  And many contain beautiful pictures or have unusual bold graphics, which are ideal as background or decor for your Slot Car Collection. 

Cox


The greatest name in vintage slot cars collecting. Cox built the best quality cars and kits from 1964 to 1969 and today's collectors appreciate that quality. Cox sold their cars in RTR and kit form as well as parts. Body and chassis kits, wheels, tires, motors, axles, guides and gears were all sold separately. The kits are especially cherished but the factory-assembled RTR cars in their original boxes are also highly valued. A Blue Chip investment. 

 LeRoy Cox, of Santa Ana, California, founded Cox, the most respected name in the business, in 1945. Perhaps the first to develop a low-cost miniature gas engine, Cox manufactured a line of gas-powered airplanes and cars that proved immensely successful. Cox was at the top in 1964, when slot car racing was set to really take off. In spite of advice “not to get involved” by business partners, Cox went into the hobby with a vengeance, producing the most beautiful slot cars ever made over the next four years.

My Dad owned a Hobby Shop that closed in the early 1970's, and he kept some of the more interesting slot cars and accessories from that era.  The items I am listing are in most cases, near new or gently used.  I have taken many pictures to show every angle and have tried to describe all features and/or flaws to the best of my ability.  Please email with any questions specific to something I may have missed.
