This article is about the area of China called, in this article, Kwangsi Province. This is the southern area near the Gulf of Tonkin, French Indo China (North Vietnam) and island of Hainan. The area is now called Guangdong. There is a little bit of history but mainly this is a travelogue on sights, people and events seen by the author.
