1)There are 3 options, the cheap model is displayport male to DVI female adaper(about 15CM).

And the other model is DP male to DVI male and it is about 1m & 1.8M.


Displayport to DVI

The  DP to DVI cable is not bi-direction cable, it works only from DP source to DVI out.

You can not connect a PC or laptop with DVI port to a monitor with Displayport.

 


1080 DP to DVI adapter

The DP to DVI adapter supports only DVI-D single link resolutions, that is 1080P@60Hz.
