This highly collectable commemorative medallion was issued by the Australian Numismatic Society to commemorate the conversion on 14 February 1966 to decimal currency.  The obverse side of the medallion depicts the opening of the Royal Australian Mint on 26 February 1965.  This medallion makes for a great addition to your collection.
