Oooh...this is sooo cool! Made by William Heller, Inc, this is a kit to make a fab dress from the 50's. Includes the instructions, a belt and pre-marked orlon / wool "Heller" jersey knit fabric, complete with embellished neckline. Evidently you stitch on the dotted lines and voila...you have a dress. It appears that you can make either the chemise or the sheath...or they even give you ideas to customize it. I'm a bit afraid to unfold it any more, or I'll NEVER get it folded back up correctly. All appears to be in really good condition! The fabric is a light to midweight jersey knit that fells like it will drape nicely. The fabric content is 80% orlon and 20% wool. There is no size on the packaging, but I did measure the included belt and it appears to be around a 34" waist. The belt can be trimmed for a smaller waist.
I've searched all over the internet and have NOT found anything like this ....a real oddity!
