This is a European piece, from about 19c  Antique Schiffli machine embroidered lace, duplicating in a  large scale Gros Point de Venise lace, fragment from a beautiful  collar.  it is a very RARE to come to a authentic Gros Point de Venise lace .
  Fragment is measure 16" by about 8"at the widest point.
