Seldom does a product come along that is as transformative as the Shift MNC 10. Atomic says this is the first "compromise free binding", and for the skier who is looking to get out of bounds, or maybe even just into side country, this is really a game changer. If functions totally as two completely different bindings in one ultra lightweight package. With the toe piece closed, it grabs the boot just like any other Alpine binding ever made. The heel closes just like any other Alpine heel, and it skis very, very well. The link between boot and ski is nice a tight, but the overall weight is incredibly light. But then, flip the toe open and you have a completely different Pin Tech binding that grabs the Tech fittings in the toe of your boots, the brake locks up out of the way, and the heel of your boot is free, just like any other AT binding. Uphill has never been easier, followed by amazing down hill performance like no other binding before Shift. It is an amazing piece of engineering that will blow your mind the first time you use it.
Part of the magic also of Shift is that it can be so incredibly light weight, and still offer such a stiff coupling between boot and ski. In the AT world, where bindings mostly ski very poorly downhill, Shift is a total game changer. Extensive use of carbon fiber technology and a design that was intended to be as lightweight as possible every step of the way results in something that has never been done before. The entire binding chassis is super stiff, and offers no compromise whatsoever in terms of the link between boot and ski.
MNC stands for Multi Norm Certified, meaning this binding can fit any named ski boot norm that might ever want to be matched up with it. However, to get the most out of this binding in the uphill mode, a ski boot with tech fittings in the toe are a necessity. Other than that, it can be an Alpine sole, Grip Walk sole, or AT (All Terrain) norm boot sole.
This Atomic branded version of this binding is identical to the Salomon branded version, except for differences in color choices, and in the brand name printed on the binding. Salomon and Atomic are owned by the same parent company, and share identical bindings in both brand lines.

7 days of receipt by the buyer. If you wish to return or exchange this item, here is
what you need to know.
RETURN FOR EXCHANGE
• Buyer is responsible for return shipping
• Buyer must request a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RA#) from Proskiguy
and display it on the outside of the box, next to the shipping label in large block
print.
• In an exchange transaction, buyer will be responsible for actual shipping cost of
replacement item from Proskiguy.
• Original outbound shipping cost from Proskiguy on the return for exchange item
will be forgiven.
• All exchanged items must be in their original condition, with original packaging
and all factory tags and labels still attached.
• Return for exchange will usually not be allowed on skis when our premount
service was chosen, and so have their bindings installed on the skis. Contact us if
you wish to exchange premounted skis, as we can sometimes make exceptions.
RETURN FOR REFUND
• Buyer is responsible for return shipping
• BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COST OF OUTBOUND SHIPPING. Original outbound
shipping cost from Proskiguy to buyer will be subtracted from the refund amount.
Even if the item was sold with free shipping, this actual cost of shipping will not be
refunded.
• Buyer must request a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RA#) from Proskiguy
and display it on the outside of the box, next to the shipping label in large block print.
• Refund will be issued in the same form as the original payment. If purchase
payment was made via PayPal, the refund will be processed through PayPal. If
payment was made via phone using a credit card, refund will be processed through
our in store terminal directly to that same credit card.
• All exchanged items must be in their original condition, with original packaging
and all factory tags and labels still attached.
• Return for refund will not be allowed on skis where our premount service was
chosen, and so have their bindings installed on the skis.
• Any item returned for refund may be subject to a restock fee. If that is the case,
we will let you know what that fee will be when the RA# request is received.
WARRANTY ISSUES
If you believe you have a warranty issue, we want to help. Drop us an email or give
us a call and explain your problem. We believe it is our job to act as your advocate
in the event of a product failure. However, warranty decisions are solely made by
the manufacturer of the item. Only the manufacturer can decide if a warranty claim
is valid, and how to satisfy that claim. But, we are here to help you, and will do our
best to get your product problem solved.
