Fine mixed media example by San Francisco contemporary modern painter, Tjasa Owen. Titled on the back "Address Forwarded" and dated 1999. Mixed media on canvas, has old letter assemblage style to the front sky painted of the canvas and old stamp top right corner. Would appeal to collectors of California modern, mid Century modernism, abstraction and surreal expressionist styles. "Tjasa Owen has studied fine arts, art history, and interior architecture on both American coasts and abroad. She attended and received her BA at the University of Virginia and studied at the National Academy of Art in New York, the Academy of Art in San Francisco and Coupa in Paris. Her work has been shown extensively in the US and internationally and has been acquired by many corporate collections as well as by a distinguished list of private collectors. Currently Tjasa lives and paints out of both her studios in San Francisco and Cape Cod."

CONDITION: Appears in good visible vintage condition, a couple areas of small tears on the letter and general wear around the edges but likely created during the time since a postal letter was used in the assemblage (see photos). Sold as found and as presented by the artist, no need for additional framing, ready to hang, untouched condition.
