How long should I freeze the Ice Genie before my ice cubes are ready?To ensure the water is fully frozen, we recommend freezing the Ice Genie 4-6 hours.
What do I do if my Ice Genie leaks when I pour water into the outer chamber?A good way to ensure that there is minimal leakage from the outer chamber is making sure that the sleeve is fully pushed down.
There is a gap at the very bottom of the sleeve to the bottom of the chamber, is this correct?Yes, this is correct. The bottom of the sleeve has small prongs that make the sleeve easier to remove once frozen. The Ice Genie is designed that the water seal is along the outside of the sleeve, not the bottom.
How can I wash the Ice Genie?You can wash it by hand with warm soapy water or on the top rack of your dishwasher.
Are there any tips for removing the inner chamber?Yes, you can place any standard can under the Ice Genie and push straight down on the blue silicone portion and it will make the inner chamber much easier to remove.
