Description

These boots were used by the Imperial Japanese
Navy's land forces for enlisted men.
They have no signs of use and are believed
to be unused. There is no size description,
but it is thought to be about 10.3cm (about 25-26cm)
in measurement.
They are black leather soft knitted shoes with
five lacing holes, but like the navy shorts,
they do not have dovetail fittings.
There is no cloth lining on the inside,
and the leather lining is intact.
The soles are lined with black rubber at the heel,
while the first half is still leather.
There are very few of these boots left,
and they are rarely seen in the market.
These are not the often-circulated modified
version of the Army's braided boots,
but the original navy-spec braided boots
that follow the construction of the Navy's short boots.
It is considered to be an item of very
high documentary value.
