Antique French Limoges Tressemanes & Vogt D & C 1497 Salad Plate Floral 1890s
This is a beautiful Antique China 7.25 inch salad plate that was made between 1890 and 1893. It was made by Delinierers Co. Limoges, France. Produced in a porcelain factory partnered by Gustave Vogt (1849-1937) and Émilien de Tressemanes. Their partnership began in 1882 when they ran the Limoges-based decorating firm founded in the 1850s by John Vogt. Their factory produced high-quality whiteware for the American export market. The plate is in good condition with some wear on the gold trim, and has no chips, cracks, or repairs. It is marked D & C on the back. A beautiful piece of history.
