Rare huge classic screw capped bottle with metal neck to bottle, very good untouched condition save entire box has deepened in color. The gorgeous heavily embossed box accurately dates this to the late 1960s, possibly to very early 1970s. I have sold countless vintage Dior's over the years, most sourced within the UK where the colder climate guarantees fabulous vintage fragrances & this smells quite simply spectacular. Untouched, outer box discolored, this has never seen the light of day, & smells quite simply astonishing

Christian Dior Miss Dior HUGE 2 fl.oz 60mls Parfum Dab/Splash Bottle, the bottle stands at 9cm (3.4") tall, the box at 12.5x8.5x5.5cm  (4.6"x3.2"x2.1" )

Rare vintage 1960s to possibly very early 1970's bottle & please note these early vintage bottles are NOT date stamped. Whilst this is untouched, (the screw cap took me days to open), the outer card box has darkened with age due to the glue used, this is endemic to boxes of the period. Note the fabulous golden metal rim to the inside of the neck of the bottle, the first I have ever seen, & to say this smells spectacular is coming nowhere close to the reality of it.

Introduced in 1955 & created for Dior by the legendary perfumer Edmond Roudnitska, this was one of the favorite of his creations, one thinks he wouldn't be too amused by the "New" Dior fragrances, which luckily this isn't. I am not going to go into how this should smell for this will have absolutely NO resemblance to anything released within the last 40 years, this is what Christian Dior wold have had sprayed around his Paris salon..

Christian Diors finest, an almost impossible to find, heartbreakingly gorgeous parfum, if Oak Moss is your passion then look no further . In astonishing never seen the light of day no longer sealed condition

Some perfume bloggers/collectors like to state that vintage Diors can "go over" or lose some of their top notes, I find this true only of ill stored, used or opened bottles or those from warmer climates, our colder climate in the UK can allow vintage perfumes to last almost indefinitely, if anything they seem to only improve with age, a classic example being Chanels fabulous vintage Eau de Cologne, which is out there in a league of its own..
