I would suggest you NOT rely on the clip alway saying on the case because it's a single point of failure where it connects to the case - any break in the rubber with the clip attached will see you lose your buds! The case would be good for use, say, at the beach - to stop sand getting in. Also good for splash proection - but It is NOT designed to be waterproof and there is a little of the case lid visible when closed unless you really really jiggle and push the pod case into it.
