M11 Fitting & Chrome Pressure Gauge

Boiler pressure gauge to upgrade your Europiccola.
Help yourself dial in your shots by knowing the pressure in the boiler of your La Pavoni Europiccola, as found on the professional models.
Includes:
1 x Pressure Gauge single scale 0÷3 bar - connection ø 1/8M
1 x Pressure Gauge fitting M11
1 x Flat gasket PTFE 17x12x1.5mm.
Also available in, "Gold", or Chrome bezel with ABS plastic back.
The pressure guage fitting is where it gets complicated.
All La Pavoni Professional models require a standard M12 Pressure Gauge Fitting.
Post Millennium Europiccola models produced whilst the professional (51mm tamper and large grouphead) models are being made require either:
- An M11 Pressure Gauge Fitting none standard.
Or
- For you to change the top fitting of the sight glass housing and then to use the standard M12 Pressure Gauge Fitting as found on the professional.
Pre Millennium Europiccola models with a 49mm tamper and the smaller grouphead this is where it gets complicated:
- If you have the plastic sight glass cover added in 1990 in all likelyhood you will require the M11 fitting and this change in sight glass cover was when the Pavoni meddling started.
- If the machine was made pre 1990 and has the metal sight glass cover then you should require the standard M12 fitting.
However on all models I recommend removing the slotted blanking cap on the top of the sight glass and measuring the threads:
If 10.6-10.8mm you require the M11 Fitting
If 11.6-11.8mm you require a standard M12 Fitting
