The species Viscum album, known in Greece as ixos, apple, white viscon or mistletoe (from the French gui), is an evergreen shrub.
In Northern Greece it can be found in fruit trees and forest species, while in Southern Greece almost exclusively in firs.
How it is used: If we prepare it as an infusion, pour 30g of dry herb into a cup of boiling water and leave it for 10-15 minutes. We drink this drink three times a day. If prepared as a decoction, boil 30g of crushed dry herb in 1 cup of water for one minute, turn off the heat and leave for 10 minutes. Strain and drink a spoonful of food three times a day.
