This is an original ad from a 1943 magazine, not a reproduction or copy.  In excellent clean condition; measures approx 6-3/4 x 10.  The first picture is a close-up for detail, the second is the full ad.  The red border is not part of the ad.  This would look great matted and framed, and would make a very unique gift for anyone who collects railroadiana. 

This ad is titled, "A New Day Dawns in Railroading".  Pictured is a GM diesel locomotive made for Western Pacific, plus a Currier and Ives picture in the background of an 1865 "Express Train" for comparison.

My ads are:

  • from a smoke-free home
  • neatly trimmed along the stapled edge
  • dated in pencil, usually at the lower edge
  • shipped in plastic bag, cardboard layers, and waterproof outer packaging for safe arrival.
