What's the advantage of using the GKTech rocker arm stoppers? Rocker arm stoppers hold the lash adjuster side of the rocker arm at a fixed clearance, preventing extra movement at high RPM. What modifications are required, is this hard to fit? The only modification is you will need to trim one of the corners off the OEM baffle plate as this will get in the way of the rocker arm. The plate can be removed and discarded but we do recommend keeping the plate and trimming to suit. Apart from that simply install the rocker arms. Is there anything else needed for installation? If you decided to cut the baffle plate, yes a dremel. If not then no and the parts will arrive as shown in the product photo. Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take? Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge it is straightforward and should take around an hour. However, being that vital motor components are involved, we recommend only a trained professional to install this product. What is the difference between these rocker arm stoppers and more expensive items like Tomei, Greddy, Nismo etc.? Tomei, Greddy and Nismo rocker arm stoppers are all laser cut mild steel and are zinc coated. The GKTECH rocker arm stoppers are also laser cut mild steel and are zinc coated. The only difference being is that the GKTECH items are made in Australia.
