😁 Made in GREAT BRITAIN 😁
Hello and welcome to a great, easy 👌 and speedy 💨 way to build a pond with Sleepers.
Traditional methods take ages⏳ 🥱 and require a reasonable skill level 🧠 and lots of tools 🤷🏻🔧 🔨🪛🪚
The Speedy Pond and planter takes a fraction of the time to assemble and doesn't require much skill (don't tell your friends and family though as you want them to think you are amazing!)🦸♂️🦸♀️
If you liked Lego blocks as a child then you are going to love this 😍.
When thinking about designing my products I always try and make my designs "not the norm" as normal is boring! 😴
Because I am an ex-design engineer I try and make my products so they are easy to use 😊.
In the kit:
Main pond structure,
8 pieces of 200mm x 100mm x 1100mm long pressure treated sleepers with 4 holes in the top and 4 in the bottom.
All sharp edges are removed and the faces are all sanded.
Top capping,
4 pieces of 145mm x 45mm x 1244mm long treated capping with mitred ends.
Edges are eased and it is a smooth finish.
Sleeper connectors,
12 pieces of 18mm diameter x 170mm long oak dowels.
Oak offers a great shear force, more than capable to hold the pond together 💪😁👍.
Capping Screws,
24 pieces of 5.0 x 120mm long posidrive screws.
Pond Underlay,
2.5m x 2.5m
Pond Liner,
2.5m x 2.5m, LDPE

Assembly for 445mm high pond:
This pond is built up in 2 layers of 200mm x 100mm sleepers and then capped off with 145mm x 45mm mitred timber.
You start off by ensuring the ground is flat and level where you require the pond to be situated.
Next, place the 4 sleepers in a square shape but overlap the ends (see photos), this is important or it won't assemble!
You then simply put 3 wooden dowels into the corner holes of the sleepers (4 corners).
You then place the next layer of sleepers on top, but the holes in the bottom of the sleepers line up with the dowels. Tap down the sleeper with a rubber mallet if it doesn't go down fully. Once again overlap the sleepers (see photos) or it won't assemble!
You continue doing this until you use up all of the sleepers.
Next you need to either put sand into the 1m x 1m opening of the pond or put old carpet in, this is to protect the bottom of the pond liner so it does not get punctured by roots, stones or general sharp bits!
Fit the pond underlay, do NOT trim it yet!
Fit the pond liner, do NOT trim it yet!
Once happy that the underlay and liner are fitted with enough sticking out of the top of the pond then fill it up with water💧.
The filling may take a little while so be prepared to wait! 🥱
Once you reach the desired water level then screw the capping down ensuring that you are also screwing and clamping down the pond underlay and liner. Make sure the pond liner is fully above the water line or water will flow into it and out of the pond!
You now need to trim the excess underlay and liner, use a sharp knife and run it along under the capping joint, watch your fingers!!!! 🤲🏥
You should now be done, well done you clever thing!🥳
Just add your filter, water pump etc...and don't forget your FISH 🐟🐠🐡🦈
Enjoy 😁 👍

This Youtube video shows the 900mm high pond but it is the same but taller, the video shows 100mm x 100mm capping, ignore this as it is now 145mm x 45mm as it looks better.
