This is a 1948 DeSoto Hood Ornament, part # 975218 5424. I am not sure what model this fits, it may fit other years or models as well but I am not sure so please make sure it is correct for your application before buying. This one is in good original condition. The chrome has some pitting on it as you can see in the pictures, but it still has a great shine to it.
