United States Navy Corsair "White 301" of Fighter Squadron VF 23 "Flashers", USS Wright, 1948. Historical photographic evidence indicates this a/c was not a bird cage, but rather a bubble canopy Corsair. It is unlikely "White 301" was piloted by LT. Paul Cordray, as he flew with VF-17.
