P-51 67FBS 18FBW Commanding officer 67th, 1st Lt. Arnold “Moon” Mullins Korea Nov. ’50. Mullins was a WW II P-38 ETO veteran. In Korea he became the operations officer of the 67 FBS, flying ground support missions. Lt. Mullins shot down two Russian built Yaks in one encounter, the first aerial victories for the 18th Fighter-Bomber Group in the Korean War. He was killed in the crash of a T-33 jet trainer aircraft in 1952.
