| This Fitler Kit will fit All Can-Am Rykders every made including all 2026 models. eBay's 'Compatibility' lisings tend to lag behind reality. It is not possible to list the 2026 models as compatible through their system yet. WARNING! There are aftermarket filters with the same dimensions as this Genuine OEM, BRP Ryker filter. They will fit just fine and they also cost less. HOWEVER! They do not have the Anti-Drain Back Valving that this Genuine BRP filter has. The Ryker oil filter sits high in the engine. If you use another filter without the Anti-Drain Back feature. The oil will drain out of the filtration system back into the engine. This means that at start-up, it will take some time for the oil pump to refill the filter and remaining empty space in the system. This is precious time that critical components will have ZERO oil and ZERO oil pressure. The Anti-Drain Back valving keeps the oil system full and immediately ready to deliver oil to all components at start-up. This is a very important feature and should not be compromised. If you use a different filter, you can do damage to the engine and void your warranty. Be sure you are getting a genuine BRP oil filter specifically designed for the Ryker. |
