The ad has a color painting of an EMD diesel set (FT ABBA) painted in the Northern Pacific black and yellow. The main painting shows an 1881 steam engine and crowd at the line’s Last Spike ceremony.

The ad text starts “Writing new railroad history” and goes on about the new diesels.

This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1945 magazine.

Note to CANADIAN purchasers:
