Vintage Teddy Bear knitting pattern. (Laminated copy)
A truly retro knit, this pattern dates back to the 1940's.
I make no apologies for my love of vintage toy patterns and this one has to be my all time favourite!
'A CUDDLY LITTLE FELLOW'.
Easy to knit in sections of garter stitch is sure to win the hearts of every small child and he is so very easy to make.
Teddy was originally knitted in double knitting wool in beige on number 8 needles (4mm).He stands 17 inches tall when completed.
I hope you have as much fun knitting him as I did!
Have you seen my other vintage toy patterns from the 1940's and 50's? Take a look at my shop for some truly retro knits.
Teddy is a great stash-buster and fun to knit . This Bear is sure to prove a winner with your little one.
He would look good in any colour combination and would be a good use of that wool you have that has just been waiting for something special to knit!
You will be purchasing a carefully reproduced COPY of a knitting pattern from my own collection.
The original vintage pattern is now out of print and copyright and is very hard to get hold of.
Your copy will be on good quality paper, approx A4 size. (You may notice some blemishes in the reproduction of the pattern but this is purely age related.)
It will also be laminated to help keep it clean and help it last as long as the original!.
