Looking to upgrade your factory Mini Cooper headlamps or to replace hazy or cracked stock housings? These headlights are just what you were looking for!   You can now easily add an upgraded look and improve the poor performing factory Halogen reflector headlamps all in one easy swap.   Furthermore using a quality aftermarket LED bulb like the Morimoto 2-stroke version 3 in this housing can a achieve near bi-xenon output.  The precision German lenses have the correct stepped cut off which is lifted to allow high beam function via a servo.  Simple plug and play to your factory harness, the only extra connection is the two wires for the Day Time Running lamps (DRL) which have to be connected to a 12 volt circuit energized in the run position (engine running).

Installation: 

Disconnect the factory harness at the rear of your headlamp.  

Mark the four retaining bolts locations relative to the adjusters and then remove each of the four bolts that secure the headlamps.  

Remove headlamp and install new headlamp. 

Adjust headlamp to center into bonnet opening and plug in factory harness.

Run DRL positive wire to a 12 volt source energized in the run position and ground the ground wire.  Best location for this is the under bonnet fuse box located on Drivers side next to the strut tower.
